This is the 2015 Limited Edition release of the small batch from Four Roses, bottled at barrel strength. This bold barrel strength blend is made from a combination of bourbon whiskeys, the youngest being 11 years old.
This is the last bottling produced by Master Distiller Jim Rutledge before his retirement after almost 50 years in the business.
Nose: Ripe cherry, caramel custard and fresh magnolia.
Taste: Spicy cinnamon, clove, orange peel, apricot and light honey.
Finish: Long, lingering hints of creamy vanilla and fresh spearmint.
