Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour Single Malt Whisky
Campbeltown Harbour from Glen Scotia is a lightly peated release. This classic Campbeltown Single Malt has been matured exclusively in first fill bourbon casks. After maturation, Glen Scotia’s Malt Master John Peterson selects the finest casks to reach a perfect harmony of fruit overlaid with the characteristic sea spay of a Campbeltown malt. These flavours are enhanced by an underlying peat influence on the finish, resulting in a beautifully balanced Single Malt.
Nose: Fresh and clean with notes of mineral water and citrus fruits followed by hints of smoke and cookies.
Taste: Bitter-sourish with nice domination of sour oranges complemented by fruit marmalade and caramel.
Finish: Medium length and rather dry with touches of orange zest, vanilla and different pastries.
