Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Tiger Scotch Whisky
Johnnie Walker is arguably the most popular and recognisable blended Scotch on the market. Its core range includes the standard Red Label and Black Label, introduced in 1909 and named, quite simply, after their packaging. The iconic “striding man” motif was first drawn by Tom Browne the year prior. The premium Blue Label brand was introduced in 1992 and is composed using malt whisky from some of the most sought after distilleries in Diageo’s extensive portfolio.
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Year of the Tiger limited edition 2022 Lunar New Year design for Johnnie Walker Blue Label. This intricate design marks the Year of the Tiger and is illustrated by Chinese artist Shan Jiang. The incredible artwork pays homage to the Tiger as a symbol of strength and progress.
Nose: Fragrant with good body. Notes of oak, crisp spice, dried fruit, pastries. Berry fruits, aniseed, hints of cedar, a touch of spice and citrus.
Taste: Supple and balanced. Good toffee and hints of very wistful smoke. Chocolate, hints of grass and a good hit of malt.
Finish: Floral, oaky, good length, urged on by a plume of very well-kept, highland style smoke. Dried fruit, spice, honey.
