Inspired by, and paying homage to, long-standing Bowmore’s Distillery Manager David Turner, this exceptional Single Malt was drawn from casks filled in 1996.
This inaugural release Volume 01 showcases the defining moments in David’s thirty years at Bowmore, celebrating stories from his journals, exploring memories and moments.
The Single Malt was matured for 25 years in first-fill oloroso sherry casks.
Only 3,516 bottles released.
Nose: Peat sherry with a hint of sea breeze, cream, caramel, tropical fruit and a hint of tobacco.
Taste: Honey, caramel, apple pie, dark chocolate cake, dried longan, black blemish, tobacco notes and just the right amount of light peat.
Finish: Medium finish. Vanilla cream, peat, dark chocolate, and a hint of herbs and tobacco.
